Medical Use
DUPIXENT is an interleukin-4 receptor alpha antagonist indicated for the following conditions:
- -Atopic Dermatitis (AD): For treating moderate-to-severe AD in adults and children aged 6 months and older, especially when topical prescription therapies are insufficient or unsuitable. DUPIXENT can be used alone or with topical corticosteroids.
- -Asthma: As an add-on maintenance treatment for moderate-to-severe asthma in adults and children aged 6 years and older, particularly those with an eosinophilic phenotype or those dependent on oral corticosteroids.
- -Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyposis (CRSwNP): As an add-on maintenance treatment for adults with inadequately controlled CRSwNP.
- -Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE): For treating EoE in adults and children aged 12 years and older who weigh at least 40 kg.
- -Prurigo Nodularis (PN): For treating adults with PN.
Warning & Precautions
Avoid using DUPIXENT® if you are allergic to dupilumab or any of its ingredients.
Before starting DUPIXENT, inform your healthcare provider about all your medical conditions, including if you:
- -Have any eye problems
- -Have a parasitic (helminth) infection
- -Are scheduled to receive any vaccinations. You should not receive a “live vaccine” right before or during treatment with DUPIXENT.
- -Are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, as it is unknown if DUPIXENT can harm your unborn baby.
